Parental involvement is key at our daycare. Parents are welcome to come and go from the daycare and are encouraged to participate in activities, including field trips.
Our caregivers ensure frequent, friendly and positive verbal communication with parents. Parents and caregivers work together to share their knowledge and input for the child.
We are a non-profit charitable organization. We ask parents to fundraise and volunteer to:
- meet our Charitable Societies Act obligations;
- cover costs for:
- toys and equipment;
- special programming, such as yoga and music;
- field trips;
- art supplies; and
- help with facility and playground maintenance.
All families are required to volunteer for a minimum of 10 hours per calendar year.
